Shipping founder • CS @ Rice • Built in Dhaka

I’m Ifty Ahmed,
I build vision‑aware AI & social impact systems.

CS at Rice University. Founder of Brailly, Diagnos, and now Lenze — moving from solving blind literacy in Bangladesh to real‑time vision‑based AI infrastructure that gives models screen awareness.

About

Founder energy with systems depth

From blind literacy in Bangladesh → nutrition intelligence → vision‑aware AI.

I’m Ifty Ahmed — a social entrepreneur and AI systems builder. I grew up in Bangladesh, started Brailly Tech in high school to attack blind literacy, and today I’m at Rice University (CS) building infrastructure‑level AI systems that others can build on.

I care about products that actually ship and touch people. I’ve:

  • Built Braille Board, Brailly Keyboard, and Vibraillator for blind students in Bangladesh.
  • Launched Diagnos, an AI nutrition & health system that reached 10% of Rice campus with 1,000+ users.
  • Now building Lenze, a vision‑based MCP that streams UI changes into LLMs so agents can actually see and act.

My style is simple: build fast, keep the stack lean, and let real usage drive the next version.

Timeline

From Brailly → Diagnos → Lenze

Every few years, a more upgraded version of me ships.
2016 → Present
Brailly Tech Ltd — Founder & CEO
Working with Ministry of Education, Bangladesh · TigerIT Foundation · MIT Solve collaborations
Started by attacking the illiteracy of ~0.7M blind Bangladeshi children. Built the Blind Eye App, Braille Board, and Brailly Keyboard — hardware + software systems that bring academic textbooks, novels, and tools to blind students with haptics, air gestures, and voice.
2019 → 2021
Axion — App Developer (Intern)
Native, React Native, PWA, Flutter
Built and optimized mobile experiences across stacks. Learned how to pick the right tool for the job and make apps adapt to real‑world devices.
2021 →
Diagnos — AI Nutrition & Health System
1,000+ users · 10% campus adoption @ Rice · Piloted with Rice Athletics
Built one of the first self‑made AI nutrition systems: food scoring, HEI‑based intake scoring, sleep quality tracking, activity & rPPG vitals, InBody body‑composition correlation, and an athlete‑focused workflow that cut manual work for staff.
Now
Lenze — Vision‑Based MCP (Model Context Protocol)
Real‑time screen awareness for LLM agents
Building an infrastructure layer that streams structured visual context from UI → LLMs. Focused on low‑latency video‑to‑context encoding and example agents (poker assistant, productivity navigator) that prove what’s possible.

Systems I’ve shipped

From braille hardware to health analytics to agent infrastructure.
Now shipping Infrastructure • Vision • Agents

Lenze — Vision‑Based MCP

Real‑time screen awareness for LLMs. Low‑latency streams of UI changes, converted into structured context for agents.

Context streaming Computer vision Agent frameworks MCP

Lenze treats visual context like a first‑class resource — capturing screen changes, diffing UI, and pushing compact, structured updates into AI models. It’s not just one app; it’s a context layer others can build on: poker assistants that see the table, productivity agents that watch your tools, and task navigators that move across apps.

Flagship Health · Nutrition · Sleep · Activity

Diagnos — AI Nutrition & Health Engine

Campus‑scale health intelligence with a single backend: food, sleep, activity, and physique data fused together.

AI meal analysis HEI‑based scoring rPPG vitals InBody modeling Athlete workflows

Diagnos analyzes meals, sleep, and activity, then scores and correlates them with body‑composition metrics like InBody scans. It launched across Rice with 1,000+ users and a dedicated athletics workflow that removed repetitive reporting for coaching staff.

Root of everything Hardware + Software for the Blind

Brailly — Braille Board, Vibraillator & Keyboard

A full stack for blind literacy in Bangladesh: content, input, and touch‑based reading.

Braille Board Vibraillator Brailly Keyboard Blind Eye App

Built a personal computer for the blind with thousands of textbooks and novels (via T2S), a handheld device that converts printed text into braille through haptics, and a 360° gesture‑based keyboard that learns individual finger travel to type faster than legacy solutions.

Exploration era AI ideas · Vision · Interfaces

MindSee & early AI experiments

The sandbox phase — experimenting with AI, vision, and intelligence‑augmented tools.

Prototype agents Vision UX Idea pipelines

MindSee and earlier projects were where I tested ideas that later hardened into Diagnos and Lenze — especially how to stream perception into models and make interfaces that don’t get in the way of actual work.

Research interests

Where I like to think deeply

Theory is useful when it survives contact with shipping reality.

My work spans from hardcore health & chemistry to pure math and agent reasoning:

Vision‑based model context streaming AI agent reasoning pipelines Nutrition metabolism & intake modeling InBody data & body‑comp correlation Mass spectrometry, GC, IC Hydroxyl radical degradation modeling Cancer modeling (Trachette Jackson‑style) Electrolysis & AOP food/water decontamination Gamma function & mathematical analysis Computer security & exploitation (buffer overflows)
Selected highlights

Signals that the work is real

I optimize for impact, not trophies — but some trophies showed up anyway.
Global recognition

International Children’s Peace Prize 2019 — Top 3 global finalist (Asia nominee) for work on blind literacy with Brailly.

National awards

Bangabandhu Innovation Grant 2021 — Brailly National Winner (USD 10,000 grant). BASIS National ICT Award — Blind Eye App, 1st place.

Competitions

Let’s build what doesn’t exist yet

I’m interested in hard problems, real constraints, and teams that ship.

If you’re working on AI infrastructure, health intelligence, or hard social impact problems, I’d love to talk. I bring founder energy, systems thinking, and a track record of shipping from scratch.

Best way to reach me is email. For faster experiments, send a short brief and I’ll respond with concrete next steps.
